Subscription & Refund Terms
These terms supplement the Terms of Service and govern subscriptions to Shortlister, operated by True Square Ltd (registration number HE 368592, registered office Charalambou Mouskou 20, ABC Building, Floor 3, Office 306, 8010 Paphos, Cyprus).
1. Plans, prices and taxes
- Subscription plans, features, prices and billing cycles (e.g., monthly or annual) are shown at checkout. Prices are displayed with applicable VAT determined at checkout based on your location; the correct VAT is calculated, charged and remitted by our Merchant of Record.
- Payments and invoicing are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited as Merchant of Record (seller of record). Your purchase is also subject to the Merchant of Record's buyer terms and refund policy, which operate alongside these terms.
2. Automatic renewal
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for that plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We obtain your express consent to auto-renewal at checkout and, where required, send a renewal reminder before annual renewals.
- You authorise recurring charges to your selected payment method until you cancel.
3. Cancellation
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings or via the customer portal provided by the Merchant of Record. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
- We do not provide refunds for the unused portion of a current period after it has started, except where required by law or expressly stated below.
4. EU right of withdrawal (consumers)
- If you are a consumer in the EU, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. Because the Service is digital content/services supplied immediately, you are asked at checkout to expressly request immediate access and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once performance has begun.
- If you do not provide that consent, the standard 14-day withdrawal right applies and you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase for a refund, less any amount proportionate to use already made where permitted.
5. Price changes
We may change subscription prices. Changes apply to renewals only and we will give you reasonable advance notice before a price change takes effect, so you can cancel if you do not accept the new price.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, the Merchant of Record may retry the charge and notify you. If payment cannot be collected, access may be suspended or the subscription cancelled.
7. How to request a refund
Where a refund is available under these terms or applicable law, contact hello@shortlister.cy with your account email and transaction reference, or use the customer portal provided by the Merchant of Record. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method by the Merchant of Record.
8. Statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer under EU or Cyprus law.
